Last Friday, the CASS team filmed the Lancaster segment of a promotional video for the joint Linguistics dual-degree programme in Language Science run by Lancaster University and Xi’an Jiaotong University.

Despite a forecast of overcast skies and persistent rain throughout the week, the day of the shoot brought a welcome surprise: by the time filming began, the clouds had cleared and the campus was bathed in bright sunshine.

Filming also extended indoors, taking in the Confucius Institute, the CASS offices, and the corridors of the Linguistics department, offering a more complete picture of life at Lancaster University.

The day went smoothly from start to finish, and the whole experience left a lasting impression on everyone involved.
